Safari iOS gmail : Override gmail's auto-fit feature through code?

I am writing an email using xsl. The email looks good in every other device, but when I open it in safari iOS gmail(iPhone 6), gmail tries to auto fit the message to the device width and messes up the layout + img and font-size. It also gives an option to switch back to the original version of the message : "The message has been modified to fit your screen. Tap here to show original" - which appears just on top of the message. But I was wondering if there's any way to override this feature through code(my be using meta tag or css or any hack) to make sure that gmail does not do this auto-fit in first place!! Thanks.
