iOs Application Planning and Selection

I have downloaded xcode and want to go ahead and start making my first iOs application. The options first encountered are "Master-Detail Application", "Page-based Application", "Single View Application", "Tabbed Application" and "Game".

My project needs to fulfil the following:

• Splash Screen


• Enter Password. Access to:


• Home with menu. Access to:


• Page 1


• Page 2


• Page 3

So it's a very simple app. With the previous mentioned. What is the best project template to use and why? Also, could you forward me any links to any decent tutorials that help for beginner iOs developers?
