html textbox fields delay while typing in iphone

i have a long form includes inputs fields and text areas, on iphone while typing in text-area field there is a 3-4 seconds delay, this problem solved for by adding autocorrect="off" but autocorrect="off" in textarea doesn't solve the problem any answers?
