Facebook Comment Return Errors For Custom Keyboard Extension

I am developing a new keyboard for iPad/iPhone. I am unable to get the return to work on posts within the comments section. It simply shoots out my deleted characters, and goes to the beginning of the comment, not deleting the comment. This is facebook in safari on ipad with my keyboard extension. I am using the usual \n and have tried using let returnAction2 = String(UnicodeScalar(10)) same effect.

On another note, I was getting this error starting about Nov. 26, 2014 on my mac also. I have reassigned keys on my keyboard using Ukelele. This error occurs only in the comment box also, and it also spits out garbage after I hit enter. I have had ukelele and have had an altered backspace key (semicolon key) for 5 years and have never had any problems except in google docs and in mozilla firefox, which simply ignores the changes Ukelele has change in my system layout. It's frustrating because I turned my app into the app store, and people using facebook are going to think that my keyboard app is broken!
